Manish Paul: I Do Not Know Why Drashti Dhami Got Replaced From Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7

manish paulManish Paul is back to what he does best; hosting. Last night one saw Manish Paul in his elements of the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 sharing the stage with co-anchor Ranvir Shorey.

Manish Paul replaced Drashti Dhami amidst a lot of controversy to which Manish states, “There wasn’t any controversy in the first place. I don’t know why Drashti got replaced. I didn’t want to get in the middle of it anyway. All I know is, when they asked me, I said yes and here I am. As for Drashti, she is a very dear friend of mine. So when I told her I’ll be replacing her she graciously accepted and there wasn’t any problem as such.”

Manish Paul‘s debut film, Mickey Virus, sank at the Box Office and it did not exactly set his Bollywood career rolling, but he says he’s trying to maintain a balance between his television and big-screen projects.

“Everyone around me, from the spot boys and production team to the contestants and judges are happy to see me on the show. It seems like everyone’s prayers have been answered. I let destiny guide me, rather than plan things. If we plan too much, things never work out. The day God feels that I should only do films, he will guide me towards them. I am happy to maintain a balance. My next film will start in August, so I can manage my TV show and film simultaneously,” states an upbeat Manish Paul.

After Manish Paul had hosted the fifth and sixth seasons of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the makers decision to not bring him back for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7  and have Ranvir Shorey and Drashti Dhami as the new hosts left everyone surprised.

However, after Ranvir and Drashti’s pairing failed to click, Drashti was dropped. Rumour now has it that Ranvir, too, might be out soon.
