Piyush Sahdev’s ex-wife Akangsha Rawat has finally reacted to rape charges pressed on him.
On November 22, Piyush Sahdev was arrested by Versova Police after allegedly raping a 23-year-old model. Since then Piyush has been in police custody. It is speculated that Piyush was in a living in relationship with the model. Finally his ex-wife Akangha Rawat has reacted on the same.
Previously Akangsha Rawat had stated that she has not been in touch with Piyush. And in her latest interview with the Mid-Day Akangsha said, “I don’t want to comment on whether he has or hasn’t done it. I don’t want to say anything out of place. I don’t want to get entangled in this.”
When Piyush’s sister Meher Vij was asked about the same she said that ever since her brother got married she has not been in touch with him. Meher further added that they only communicated through their father. Since she has not been able to get in touch with her father she does not know what is happening.
Gireesh Sahdev, Piyush’s brother is also clueless too. Similarly like Meher, Gireesh has not been in touch with his brother since his wedding. Although, since the last few months the brothers have come close, owing to problems in Piyush’s personal life.

“I don’t think my brother can be involved in these kind of activities. He is not like that. But if there’s a 1 percent of him being in the wrong, we will accept it, but I still believe aisa kuch nahi hai (that there’s nothing like that). He is innocent, the verdict will be in his favour, sach ki vijay hogi( the truth will win),”, said Gireesh to DNA.
Last Piyush Sahdev was seen in ‘Beyhadh’, wherein he played the antagonist. Other popular daily soaps Piyush has been in are Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Geet and Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai.
