According to reports, he has filed a one crore defamation case against Kamya. Rahul believes that it was Kamya who led the group that accused him of torturing, physically abusing Pratyusha that forced her to kill herself.
As per a portal, Rahul says, “I have filed a case against Kamya and three others in Ranchi High Court as I come from there. I want a public apology from all those who took advantage of the situation and hurled accusations at my family and me. Kamya claims to be Pratyusha’s friend. If she wanted to help solve the case, she would have gone to the police and not the media. I want her to prove all the allegations she had levelled against me in court now.”
When he was asked why it took him so long to take this step, he says, “I needed time to gather evidence.”
Kamya quotes, “I haven’t received any legal notice yet. I will decide what needs to be done once I get it. I am not scared of anyone.”
