Amitabh Bachchan, who is gearing up for the launch of his debut fiction television show Yudh on Sony Entertainment Television, has thanked Shah Rukh Khan for his wishes for the series.
Shah Rukh Khan, had previously taken to twitter to express his excitement for Yudh and said the show will be path breaking. Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Waiting for Yudh. Am sure it will be path breaking as all your other endeavours have been Let’s do football one night Sir.”
In return, Amitabh Bachchan, said, “Thank you Shah Rukh for your wishes for Yudh. Whether it will be path breaking or not is not known.”
Yudh is co-produced by Mr. Bachchan’s production company Saraswati Creations in collaboration with Endemol India.
Anurag Kashyap is the creative director, along with Shoojit Sircar who has been roped in as a creative consultant. The series is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
The show follows the life of Yudhishthir Sikarwar, a real estate baron, who is diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder. It traces his journey, his struggle with his collapsing health, his battle with business rivals and his complicated family equations.
Yudh also stars Sarika along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Zakir Hussain, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Kay Kay Menon.[/tps_footer]
