Comedian Sunil Grover falls into legal trouble over his live show in Ahmedabad.
Comedian Kapil Sharma‘s fallout with friend and co-star Sunil Grover is making headlines since a very long time. The two have been grabbing limelight for some or other reason. While Kapil is continuing with his show, Sunil Grover is busy entertaining his slot of the audience with live shows. As earlier we reported, Sunil will be seen with Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and others in Ahmedabad for a live show on May 27.
Now the recent report on Sunil Grover’s show suggests that the show has landed into a trouble. According to reports, an Ahmedabad-based organiser Rajpal Shah had filed a complaint of cheating and criminal conspiracy against Sunil and the show’s organiser Devang Shah. Reportedly, Devang and Sunil’s manager had promised to organise an event with Rajpal Shah. But the duo went on to do the same show at some another location in Ahmedabad, for a higher price!

Reacting to the allegations, Sunil Grover told indianexpress.com, “I am not at fault. If someone wants attention by doing such a thing… I don’t know who this guy is. My management, my team booked the show in Ahmedabad and I am quite excited to go there and perform. Everything is clear from our end with him. He wanted to change the date and my manager returned the money because we didn’t have the date. On the same date, some other organiser came and we signed with him. So, this was very ethical. We returned the advance that he had given us so, after that he wants attention.”
Talking about not doing a show with Rajpal Shah, Grover added saying, “No one is bothering to find out who this person is and what is his track record. It’s very childish what this guy is doing to gain attention. I don’t even want to comment on it. I recently got to know that it’s good we are not doing the show with him because he is not a credible organiser. If you find about him, you will know.”
Well, the audience is eagerly waiting to see Sunil Grover back to The Kapil Sharma Show. However, the comedian is in no mood to return back. Talking about his new show and that when he is returning back to the small screen, Grover said, “I haven’t been able to decide when I will return. I will work of course. I have been working towards it. I am planning… I don’t know yet. I am just trying to figure out (the possibility of a new show). What it should be or what it could be…”
When further probed if this means he is never returning to Kapil’s show, “We have spoken enough about it. Let’s move on,” Sunil Grover replied.
