Yash Choudhary: Sharing Screen Space With Ranbir Kapoor Was Fun

yash chaudhary - 04[tps_footer]In the year 2008, Yash Choudhary was handpicked and cast in the show Baali Umar Ko Salaam, the story tracing the innocence of first love and the romantic journey of a young girl, that also starred Jai Soni and Ankita Lokhande; but the show never saw the light of the day. Neither the producers nor the actors had any clue why the show was scrapped.

After a long wait of a year in 2009, Yash Choudhary got a chance to essay an important character in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam along with Yami Gautam. The show ran for less than a year on Colors but makers took notice of Yash and his talent.

Post this followed Bandini and Niyati, but then it was Zee TV’s Afsar Bitiya that made Yash Choudhary a household name. During his stint on the show, the casting director of Wake Up Sid spotted Yash and he was chosen to play Ranbir Kapoor’s friend; an important character that had a lot of screen space.

“Shooting with Rambir Kapoor and Anupam Kher was fun. They never made me feel like a new comer. Ayan Mukerji too was very supportive. For me Wake Up Sid was a dream.” stated Yash.

But then when one saw the film, one hardly got to see Yash Choudhary. What went wrong and why was his role chopped.

“Well this is something I have still to know. I did my job with full honesty, guess that’s all that an actor can do. Rest I do not now what happened and I will be lying if I will say that I was not disappointed when I saw the film. All I can say is you need to have a godfather here or else you are lost.” stated Yash Choudhary with disappointment in his eyes.

Currently Yash is busy doing shows like Fear Files, Savdhaan India, Shapath, CID and will be seen in a cameo in Life OK’s Laut Aao Trisha.

Here’s wishing Yash Choudhary all the best, and we do hope to see him more often.[/tps_footer]
