On our worst dressed list this week, the Chopra cousins once again take top honours. Looks like Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra have taken it upon themselves to feature on our list week after week.
Holiday Bulge: Priyanka Chopra, who was recently touring the U.S.A, seems to have piled on a few pounds. How else would we explain the picture, showing Priyanka at a magazine cover launch, with a burgeoning thigh. Her short leather skirt and checked red shirt did her no favours, nor did the excessive smoky eye makeup and deep burgundy lip paint.
Priyanka did a one-two punch, by appearing for a reality TV show wearing a blue bodycon dress. The dress itself was just plain, but her messy hairdo, mismatched makeup and a bit too much rouge made her look out of place. We expect so much more from the lovely Ms. Chopra!
Main Bhi Priyanka, Says Parineeti: Just like her older sibling, younger cousin Parineeti too was caught unawares, at a promotional event on the radio for ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’. The bubbly young girl donned a dress that made her look more like a schoolgirl, than a moviestar! A grey top and multi-coloured skirt with peplum detailing was a real disappointment. Neither ‘shuddh’, nor ‘desi’, and definitely NOT ‘romantic’.
Newbie Falters: And finally, another newcomer to Bollywood made baby steps, but faltered in terms of style quotient. Pretty new girl Vaani Kapoor, at the promotions for ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ bungled up in an ill-fitted, floral, strappy summer dress. The dress did nothing to show off her petite, slim frame, and made her look washed out.
