The actress was found dead in her apartment in Juhu, Mumbai, on June 3, 2013. Jiah entered the Bollywood industry with Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Nishabd’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan. During that time, the actress was in relationship with Aditya Pancholi’s son, Sooraj Pancholi. Since the day she committed suicide, Sooraj has been under scrutiny for mentally torturing his former girlfriend that made her kill herself.

In last two years, Jiah Khan’s suicide case has seen several highs and lows in the case including latest chargesheet revelation that stated that Sooraj had a role to play in the abortion,. The charge sheet further suggested that the foetus was extricated by Sooraj Pancholi and was disposed off in the toilet. The stated incident eventually prompted Jiah Khan to take her life.

Bollywood’s new kid on the block Sooraj Pancholi, who made his debut in Salman Khan’s Production movie ‘Hero’, had survived the 30 day ordeal in jail during the filming of his debut movie. Finally, media put Sooraj on spot about the case and the leaked chargesheet at the Sony Guild Awards on December 22, 2015. When asked about the chargesheet that stated him removing Jiah’s foetus, this is what Sooraj had to say:
“What can I say about it. The case is still in court. 10 people have 10 different things to say about it. I would only talk about it once it is cleared. I don’t want to say anything now. I don’t want to make a khichdi (mess) out of it.”

The actor was also asked about whether he has his mentor superstar Salman Khan’s support. To this, Sooraj said, “Salman has got nothing to do with it. Like every family, my family is supporting me and I am supporting my family.”
