Aamir Khan knows pretty well how to get audience’s attention. He doesn’t believe in being subtle. Shock value is something he banks on and PK’s poster is a classic example of that. The first poster of PK has been a topic of discussion in circles. It has been trending ever since it was revealed.
Now the second poster of Aamir Khan’s PK will come out August 20, and he says in that, he’s not even holding a boombox.
“We are releasing our second poster for PK Aug 20, and in that poster I am not holding any transistor even,” Aamir Khan told reporters.
The first poster of PK created a lot of intrigue and chatter among the people which has only built immense anticipation around the second poster. Also, this is the first time ever that a poster is being launched like this. Usually it is the trailer that gets launched.

The new poster is again quite quirky. It is something audiences are not expecting and have not seen before. The second poster will feed into the curiosity around the film and hopefully take the buzz a notch higher. The makers and Aamir Khan are collectively looking into the creation of the second poster.
A case was filed against Khan, for his obscene poster of his upcoming film PK, which was published in major newspapers across India. The poster showed Khan standing nude on a railway track with a strategically placed vintage boombox.
The case was filed by an advocate in a court at Kanpur, Manoj Kumar Dixit, against Khan, film producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, film’s director Rajkumar Hirani and promoters of the film.
PK is one of the most anticipated films this year starring Aamir Khan and directed by Rajkumar Hirani. PK marks the return of the 3 Idiots team. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput. It is slated to release December 19, 2014.
