Watch: Anees Bazmee Opens Up On Why Akshay Kumar Is Not A Part Of Welcome Back

Film Welcome Back which is a sequel to the 2007 super hit comedy film Welcome is all set to release with its same amount of hilarious stints. However this sequel is much in news because it will not have its central character played by Akshay Kumar. Akshay in this film has been replaced by John Abraham. The core cast of the film Welcome Back is the same as its prequel, the comic heroes include Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah along with Dimple Kapadia and Shruti Hassan.

The director of the film Anees Bazmee let his heart out on Akshay not doing the film, the filmmaker said, “I feel as far as an actor and director’s relation is concerned, it’s a very good thing that either get convinced or convince because an actor who doesn’t question at all and just works then I feel I don’t know how much interested he is to work in the film, but the thing is , when such a big film is made and many actors are there and everybody has their own questions but as a writer , director if you have worked hard for the script and if u have lived the film and thought about the film, additionally if you are clear then there are not many troubles because in the end the issue is the discussion that happens is that the effort we have put can be improved so their reaction is mostly positive, so as a writer or a director if u know which film you are making, it’s all clear and there is no confusion. “

After clearing all the speculations about Akshay not being a part of the sequel, filmmaker Anees Bazmee seemed all happy with his hard work. The film Welcome Back has been in news lately for its change in release dates; however all the change in plans, have come to a standstill and the comic film is all set to tickle the funny bones of the audience on September 4th.
