MUMBAI: One film old, starlet Sunny Leone is living the Bollywood dream. The actress was spotted at the music launch of Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Shootout At Wadala’ grooving on stage with her first item song ‘Laila’.
Interestingly, not only is the hottie doing an item song in ‘Shootout At Wadala’, she also has a cameo appearance in the movie. At the music launch, Sunny scintillated everyone with a sexy black lehenga choli as she grooved to ‘Laila’.
“Never in a million years did I think of being here and have a chance to make something like this. As a little girl, you always watch all these Bollywood movies with beautiful women dancing and singing. This is a great escape, it is a great song to dance to. I am really thankful. I am thanking my lucky stars, God, Ekta and Sanjay for being so patient with me,” shared the 32-year-old beauty at the music launch.
Later in the night, a clearly excited Sunny posted on social networking site Twitter: “Just had the most amazing night. Absolutely craziness and all the fans that came out, you ROCK! My song Laila from ‘Shootout At Wadala’ is out for you all to hear.”
VJ and Singer Sophie Choudry who also has an item number in the movie title ‘Ala re Manya’ was seen at the launch as well. However Bollywood A-Lister Priyanka Chopra who’s done ‘Babli Badmaash’ for ‘Shootout At Wadala’ was conspicuous by her absence.
‘Shootout At Wadala’ directed by Sanjay Gupta stars John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor and Sonu Sood in lead roles. The film will hit theatres on May 1, 2013.
