She is impulsive, she is emotional, she is bohemian and at the same time spiritual and she is adaptable. Well we are talking about Elisabeth Marie Haydon, better known as Lisa Haydon who turns twenty eight today, June 17, 2014.

Lisa Haydon was born in Chennai to a Malayalee father and an Australian mother. Lisa Haydon lived in Australia and United States before moving back to India in 2007 to pursue modelling.

Lisa Hayson’s father is a life coach and deconstructs HR departments and her mother is a housewife. Her mother is an Australian, chose to come to India, work with Mother Teresa, hiked in the Himalayas and was a hippy.

Lisa Hayon is an extrovert outside, but values her space at home. While she is a believer in eternal love, she also has a high need to retain her own individuality.

Lisa wanted to be a yoga teacher at the age of eighteen. Studying psychology on the side, she took up her friend’s suggestion of taking up modelling to earn money and pay for the classes and rent. She started modelling in Australia and the rest just followed.

Lisa Haydon started her Bollywood career in 2010 with Aisha. She was at a coffee shop sipping coffee to get over a previous night’s hangover when Anil Kapoor spotted her and offered her the film.

Aisha did not do that well at the Box Office, but Lisa was notices and then came in Rascals. The film though had a lot of pre-release hype sank at the Box Office. Post which Lisa got busy with her modeling assignments, a television show and also launched her won organic skin care range.

March 07, 2014, the day Queen was released, changed Lisa Haydon’s life forever. Vijaylakshmi was one character that stood out through out the film and finally Lisa got the recognition she always deserved.

Lisa Haydon has been in a relationship with Karan Bhojwani for a long time. She is madly in love with him but currently they are not together as they need to figure things out.

On the work front, Lisa is in Mauritius rapping up her next film Shaukeen starring Annu KapoorParesh RawalAnupam Kher and Akshay Kumar. This film is a remake of the 1982 film of the same name directed by Basu Chatterjee, starring Ashok KumarUtpal DuttA. K. HangalRati Agnihotri andMithun Chakraborty.
