We watched Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan’s upcoming film Katti Batti’s trailer and we absolutely loved it. By the looks of it, the film seems promising enough and we love the vibe and flow of the story. Making the film look so fabulous through the trailer and promos, we have to give it to Katti Batti’s director Nikhil Advani and the stars, but do you know that these three aren’t the only ones who turned an idea into a story worth telling and watching? Well yes, apparently, Aamir Khan’s one suggestion played a very important role in turning Katti Batti in what it is now.
At a recent meet and greet, the film’s director Nikhil Advani revealed that Aamir Khan’s suggestion completely transformed Katti Batti. “Aamir and Katti Batti’s story started more than a year ago. I went and narrated the script to him. After listening to the script, he suggested one very important change in the script, which according to me has changed the entire film,” Nikhil said.
The director then went further on and told the media that Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist has already watched the film. “When I recently met him at the success party of PK, he said that people liked the trailer a lot, ‘So can I see the film?’ I said, ‘Of course, it’d be my honour’ and he came and saw the film,” Katti Batti’s director revealed.
Nikhil Advani‘s film will take us on a journey of a new age unique love story between two youngsters. After watching the film’s trailer, we instantly liked Kangana and Imran’s different and spicy chemisty. Kangana comes out has a storm, whereas Imran’s character is more laid back and cool.
The story will revolve around their relationships, break ups and patch ups in today’s fast world. We’ll see Imran playing a character of a nerd named Maddy, whereas Kangana will play the role of a carefree bold and beautiful girl named Payal.
With this film, actor Imran Khan will hit the big screens after the gap of two years. Imran was last seen in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein opposite to actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. Katti Batti is produced by Sidharth Roy Kapoor under UTV Motion Pictures banners. The film is set to release on September 18, 2015.
