Bollywood has very interesting tales to tell, and this time it was Naseeruddin Shah’s turn to sell a memoir amongst his audiences. Hence, he came at Literature Festival in Experimental Theatre, NCPA. Naseeruddin Shah was the knight of the dark in a lime green shirt and white pants. Also spotted supporting Naseeruddin were his wife Ratna Pathak and friends Satish Shah who came with his wife Seetha. Naseeruddin Shah had a gala time in director Shyam Benegal’s company. Shyam Benegal was the person to inaugurate the book launch. Naseeruddin Shah is married to wife Ratna Pathak and they have 3 kids, one being Vivaan Shah who last worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Happy New Year. Last seen in Finding Fanny, Nasserrudin Shah unwrapped his memoir along with columnist Anil Dharker and Shyam Benegal. Nasseruddin’s memoir is the story of his struggle to earn a living, his experiments with the craft, his love affairs, his early marriage, his successes and failures in a candid manner. The brilliant actor however had a disappointment for his fans as he clears the air of not publishing a second part of the memoir. Nasseruddin Shah, inspite of his intense roles, is an entertainer at heart. The National School of Drama alumini says, “ I made my dear ones read the book and my wife found it really hilarious and entertaining.” One list who has read the book also includes Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan.
