India's first dance film 'ABCD' directed by debutant Remo D'Souza, despite being a niche film, has managed to hold fort at the ticket counter in its first five days. The film produced by UTV Motion Pictures, features choreographers Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya, Terence Lewis and dancer Salman Yusuf Khan amongst others. As we reported, the film took a relatively soft start with about (Rs 4.5 crore) net on 8 February. It faced tough competition from Akshay Kumar starrer 'Special Chabbis' which is also faring well at the box office. Over the weekend, 'ABCD' seemed to consolidate its position with approximately (Rs 6.10 crore) net and (Rs 7.25 crore) net on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The 3 day total of 'ABCD' was steady in the range of Rs 178.5 million net. Fortunately for the film, the weekdays have not seen a drastic drop.
