For those who thought Happy New Year was something close to Om Shanti Om, well you are partially right. Deepika Padukone, in a Mumbai Film Festival interview recently said that Happy New Year is a very colourful film, and not the red blue green colour but an emotionally colourful film. The film has many themes- romance, comedy, action, drama, patriotism. She did not forget to mention that the movie was made with a lot of happiness (especially since she was working with her Om Shanti Om, her debut film team again), which shows on screen, that hopefully will make the audience happy too.
