Filled with angst, and full of revenge is what Rensil D’Silva and Dharma Production’s Ungli trailer says out loud. However, this is not like any other movie based on corruption. This is a movie that definitely wants to attract the attention of the upcoming generation towards it. The story is about 5 friends- Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Neil Bhoopalam and Angad Bedi; who fight for justice with just one Ungli (Randeep infact says the line, ‘Mere liye toh ek Ungli hi kaafi hai’.) The trailer is really wholly dedicated to Emraan and Randeep, and the entry of Sanjay Dutt who is, after a long time, playing a super-cop in the movie, and is seen breaking heads of criminals. The Ungli trailer shows a rickshawala who refused to go to a destination in Mumbai, and was sent to Delhi, which becomes breaking news the next day (Neha Dhupia plays the anchor). The vigilantes then repay with a video that shows the middle finger in the background, and written besides is Subah Ho Gayi Mamu. It then shows the friends giving politicians money to eat, and when the politician retaliates, they serve him achaar too. Also seen in the climax of the trailer is Emraan Hashmi‘s famous kiss, towards Vidya Balan, who is an interesting twist to the story. Another special appearance is that of Sharddha Kapoor who is seen dancing in the trailer. All the friends are mostly hidden behind a hoodie, and the trailer shows mainly night scenes so as to keep the suspence going. What makes the movie more interesting is that all the vigilantes are training for a special purpose that is not yet clearly known. The movie, Ungli directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Dharma productions, is set to release on November 28, 2014.
