Kabir Khan at the radio song launch of his film Tubelight revealed that his film Tubelight which stars Salman Khan in the lead role is an official adaptation of a foreign movie, 'The Little Boy'. He said that they liked the core idea and so decided to make an adaptation of the film in an Indian context. Tubelight is slated to release on the 25th June 2017.
