Ever since Sunil Grover has quit the show, fans are badly missing that Dr. Mashoor Gulati element from the show. Needless to say, Sunil Grover was the soul of the reality show. However, Kapil along with his team is making sure that fans are not disappointed with his show. The comedian star is going every way to retain the TRP of the show ever since Sunil walked out post their mid-air fight. Now according to reports, Kapil Sharma has apparently taken a pay cut for his show. Yes, Kapil, who was about to sign a Rs 110 crore deal with Sony for his show, has taken a huge pay cut to keep his showing running. DNA quoted a source saying, “There is no other way Kapil can keep up with his show. The film offers he has in hand won’t get him the money he’s making from his comedy show. So he had to agree. It wasn’t a yes or no, it had to be yes.” Well, this is a huge step! Earlier, it was reported that the show might be replaced by Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum but as Salman Khan is busy with lots of other things, the makers have postponed launching it next year. Looks like Kapil has sacrificed with the contract and wants to stick around his show at any cost.
