The director best known for his candy-floss films is showing interest in producing a hard-core action film from the south. When Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced Rowdy Rathore, a South remake, it was a departure from his style. The film was a monster hit. Karan says, Vettai, the Tamil film, is full of action, heroism, humour and has a great scope for music which is why he is keen to be a part of it, and will soon announce the lead actors for his first South remake in association with UTV.
