Nawazuddin Siddiqui acted in a Pakistani Washing Machine Ad, which indirecty promoted Domestic Violence. The ad sees a group of male friends in a conversation and joking about the man characters story- played by Nawaz- and how he did the 'dhuliye' , which actually means washing but is also used as slang for violence. The ad wasn't launched officially and was leaked online on a social media platform which soon went viral. In no time, Nawaz started getting criticism from everyone. Nawazuddin Siddiqui apologized for being a part of such an ad, The makers of the ad film too, apologized. This incident has shaken up the actor as he admits at the event.
