Farhan Akhtar, the versatile actor, director, singer of Bollywood, has become the first man to be appointed as UN Women's Goodwill Ambassador of South Asia. The actor launched the 'organisation's 'HeForShe' campaign on Thursday. The organisation stated that filmmaker Akhtar has represented "the voice of numerous concerned men on the important issue of gender equality and violence against women and girls in India through his Men Against Rape and Discrimination (MARD) campaign." The "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" actor promised to take responsibility to spread awareness about women empowerment. So he did, and he spoke about how Bollywood was responsible for most sexual harassments.
