During the final arguments in 2002 hit and run case, Salman Khan’s lawyer Srikant Shivde claimed on Thursday that Salman Khan’s car Land Cruiser was coming straight from the Hill Road and skid on the other side of the road due to tyre burst. Arguing on the Prosecutions evidences, Shivde said that the prosecution has not produced a single witness to show otherwise. However Salman Khan’s driver Ashok Singh has already told the court that he was driving the car, and also in his statement he has stated that the car's tyre got burst and drifted to the left while they were coming straight from Hill Road. Srikant Shivde also stated that RTO Officer had tested the vehicle and said that there was less air in one tyre. He said that if the Keskar had already said the tyre was deflated, the case is already in the defence support.
