It's official! After much speculations, host Kapil Sharma himself has made the shocking statement. The comedy actor stated that indeed his show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ (TKSS) will be going off the air. ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has been losing TRP’s steadily after canceling episodes due to Kapil Sharma’s ill health. Back to back cancellation of episodes has ruined the overall reputation of the show and its host. A Sony channel representative told in an interview that the show would go on a short break and would return when Kapil Sharma was in a healthy state. “Kapil has been under the weather for some time now. Due to which, we have mutually agreed to take a short break. However once Kapil has recovered completely, we will start shooting once again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery." A source close to the comedy show has stated, “Kapil is suffering from blood pressure issues and stress, which is affecting his work. The decision to take a break from shooting fresh episodes was taken mutually between Kapil and the channel. ” The break could be as long as three weeks, depending on how much time Kapil Sharma takes to recover from his illness. Kapil Sharma’s loss had helped comedy rival Krushna Abhishek’s comedy show ‘The Drama Company’. The latter will take over the TKSS 9 pm slot while the hit reality show ‘Super Dance’ will move to the 8 p.m slot. ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will air old reruns during the break till Kapil Sharma returns to the show.
