Anurag Kashyap threw an exclusive, grand wrap up party, for the cast and crew of Bombay Velvet which was held at Villa 69 in Mumbai's tony suburb of Juhu, as to celebrate the last day of shoot. The bash was attended by the film's lead actor Ranbir Kappor, Karan Johar who is playing villain in the film, Remo Fernandez, Vikram Aditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl among others. However, the film's leading lady Anushka Shrma was missing from the celebration. What was the reason that she could not attend the affair? When the media questioned on Anushka's absence at the event, a spontaneous Karan said, "Cricket chal raha hai na dekh lo." So everyone present at the event had a good laugh. So what was Karan really trying to say? Any guesses? However, Kashyap quickly added that Anushka was busy shooting in Jodhpur. Although Anushka Sharma had earlier said on a social media site that she will not be able to attend the Bombay Velvet Party " Wont be able to attend the Bombay Velvet Wrap Up Party as I will be heading to NH 10 for shooting at Rajashthan. Bombay Velvet is scheduled to release on November 28, 2014.
