Mumbai: Aamir Khan, who was recently appointed as the brand ambassador for DTH service provider Tata Sky, has donned the dual role of an arguing Punjabi couple in Tata Sky’s new TVC.

The TVC, launched across major channels on 25 August brings forth the message that Tata and Sky have joined hands to bring the DTH service to consumers in India.

In the TVC, Khan is seen in comic attire, enacting the dual role of a Punjabi bride and a groom on their wedding night. Khan’s unique costume, dresses him half as a groom and half as a bride.

The scene demands Khan to enact a squabble between the bride who aspires to get the best global DTH technology and the groom who prefers integrity and trust over anything else. The couple eventually realizes the futility of the argument because with the marriage of Tata and Sky to form Tata Sky they both get exactly what they want – trust and top-of-the-line technology, it’s a win-win situation.

Khan keeps juggling between his right and left half as the conversation between the couple goes on. The couple has an argument, wherein the NRI wife wants to install Sky DTH in the house while the groom insists on having Tata’s DTH service. The TVC ends with the couple realising that Tata and Sky DTH have joined hands in India for its DTH service – Tata Sky.

In a humorous way, the TVC brings out the values of trust and integrity associated with the Tata brand and excellent technology from Sky.
