Mumbai: Home video players like Big Home Entertainment and NDTV Lumière have geared up to offer special DVD collections that can be given away as gifts this Diwali.
While Big Home Entertainment will roll out Hollywood and Bollywood movies like Singh is Kinng, Rock On!, Hulk, Indiana Jones, Iron Man and Kung Fu Panda, in December, Big Home Entertainment will roll out The Dark Knight, Sex and the City amongst others.
Big Music & Home Entertainment CEO Kulmeet Makkar said, "The festival time is the perfect occasion for gifting and for spending time with your loved ones. DVDs make a very personalized, thoughtful and exciting gifting option. It reflects on both the giver and taker. On the other hand, NDTV Lumière is offering DVDs from a range of internationally acclaimed movies by directors like Marjane Satrapi, Juan Antonio Bayona and Fatih Akin in a custom made basket.
The assorted collections of World Cinema movies include: Crossing The Bridge, Head On, Goodbye, Children, The Lovers, Breath, Under The Bombs, Yella, Half Moon, Climates, The Orphanage, Persepolis, In July, Solino, Crossed Tracks and Tuya’s Marriage.
