Big Street appoints new national sales head


Anisha Banerji has been appointed as the National Sales Head for BIG Street – a Company specialising in the Out of Home business. Anisha joined BIG 92.7 FM in the year 2006 as Sales Head – Maharashtra and was instrumental in setting up the sales team and achieving stiff sales targets in the launch year. Thereon she moved up as Director Planning and Strategy wherein she spearheaded several projects in the Digital space, Film Promotions and also TAR, before moving to BIG Street in her new role.

Anisha is an English graduate from the Delhi University and comes with over eleven years of rich experience in sales, start up’s and business development. In her new role as National Sales Head, Anisha will overlook the revenue generation function for BIG Street and will be responsible for the profits at the national level.

Anisha started her career with Montage Advertising as a Client Servicing Manager and subsequently handled sales for Agencyfaqs and subsequently set up operations for IMG/TWI’s research arm Comperio as Media Head S.E Asia. She also had a stint with MTV where-in her main function involved furthering MTV’s core sales philosophy of innovating and integrating the customer brands.

In her previous assignments Anisha spearheaded 3 successful start-ups – agencyfaqs, IMG/TWI’s Comperio and BIG FM’s Western Sales Team showcasing tremendous leadership and marketing skills. Anisha has a solid grounding in professional ethics with hands on, fair style of leadership that has ensured high achievement and low attrition rates with the teams that she has worked with.

As National Sales Head, BIG Street, Anisha brings with her, rich experience coupled with an excellent track record, which will contribute excellently to the brand equity of BIG Street.
