MUMBAI: Sanjay Gupta has assigned the directorial reins of his forthcoming film Jasbaa to Colossus, the outfit run by video directors Ajay and Lovel Arora.
The film marks the duo’s debut in feature films, and is slated to be entirely shot overseas.
Says Lovel, “Jasbaa is a commercial thriller. It will star Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Arjun Rampal and Aftab Shivdasani. Suniel Shetty will play the baddie in the film. We will have a Hollywood crew and will wrap up the entire shooting in August and September in Chicago.”
Colossus is run by actor Kumar Gaurav, brothers Ajay and Lovel Arora who handle the creative and production process. Starting with singer Anaida’s Oova Oova, the company has produced and directed Baba Sehgal’s Tora Tora and Ke Mai Jhoot Boleya, Nadeem’s O Mere Dil Ke Chain, Jagjit Singh’s Koi Chaudhnvi Raat, Mehnaz’s Miss India and Main Hoon and Kavita Paudwal’s Julie – I Love You.
