MUMBAI: Producers Aneesh Arjun Dev and Krishan Chowdhary’s Bhoot Unkle is scheduled to release on 6 October.
“Bhoot Unkle will be released with 70 prints. Indian audiences will see a growth of mainline commercial films specifically made for children as they constitute nearly one-third of the total audience in the entertainment sector,” says Dev.
“The film revolves around a boy and his friends who accidentally solve a mystery and meet a friendly spirit — Bhoot Unkle played by Jackie Shroff. It’s a story of their tryst to save their town from looming danger. It is a fun filled thriller with a lot of masti. Baba Saigal has forayed into music direction with this film and the result is some mind boggling music,” he adds.
