MUMBAI: Inox has launched its first multiplex property in Raipur. The new multiplex is at City Mall 36 and was inaugurated on 17 August 2007. Inox is the first multiplex to open in the state of Chhattisgarh and will house four screens and 1280 seats.

Inox Raipur will be the 17th multiplex in the chain. Inox Leisure Ltd COO Alok Tandon said, “We are proud to be the first multiplex to open in the state of Chhattisgarh. We have pulled out all the stops to ensure that movie goers in Raipur enjoy the top of the line Inox experience. With Inox’s convenient location, easy accessibility and modern comforts, we aim to revolutionize the movie watching experience in Raipur.”

The programming mix at Inox will include a mix of Hindi, English and other regional films. The movies that will be showcased at Inox in the opening week will be Gandhi My Father, Marigold, Buddha Mar Gaya, Rush Hour 3, Partner and Transformers.
