MUMBAI: Moser Baer has posted a net profit of Rs 27.60 million (Rs 2.76 crore) for the quarter ended June 2009 as compared to a loss of Rs 1,039.80 million in the same quarter last year.
The company’s net sales were up 15.81 per cent to Rs 5,546.60 million, while total income for the quarter rose 13.39 per cent to Rs 5,634.00 million as compared with the corresponding period last year.
Total income has increased from Rs 4968.80 million for the quarter ended 30 June, 2008 to Rs 5634.00 million for the quarter ended 30 June, 2009.
