MUMBAI: On 7 November, Saregama released a special pack of memorable songs of Rajshri’s films. Present at the launch were Sooraj Barjatya, Amrita Rao, Shahid Kapur, Saregama managing director Shubroto Chattopadhyay and Ravindra Jain. Jain has composed music for Rajshri’s 17 films.
As Vivah releases on 10 November, Rajshri Productions also celebrates the completition of 60 years in the industry. Rajshri’s journey in the Indian film industry began in 1947.
Incidentally, the music rights of majority of films of Rajshri have been with Saregama. The journey of Rajshri and Saregama started with Aarti and has continued till Vivah.
