MUMBAI: In the recently released Jaan-E-Mann, Shirish Kunder not only directed the movie but also wrote the story, screenplay, dialogues and even edited it. What’s more? He had given the background music of the film as well.
But the latest is that for his next, Kunder will be wearing the producer’s hat. Speaking exclusively to Businessofcinema.com he says, “Yes I plan to produce my next film. I am in the process of finalizing things. I will be out of the country for a few days and after I return everything should be clearer.”
When asked if he was offered a film by Suniel Shetty’s Popkorn Entertainment, he says, “Yes. I did receive an offer from him. In fact I received a lot of offers. Right now I am trying to make up my mind as to who to go ahead with. I have to choose one and that makes it difficult because I will be upsetting the others.”
Hesitant to divulge further details about the story, starcast and budget about his next venture, he says, “I can’t reveal anything about the film now. But by this month end I should be in a position to give you concrete details.”
