MUMBAI: She’s yet to have her first release on celluloid but Kamal Hassan and Sarika’s eldest daughter, Shruti Hassan has signed up for her first ad campaign.
The young actress will pair up with Raghav Sachar for the Walls ice cream commercial. While Shruti is currently shooting for Leena Yadav’s Teen Patti, which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Sachar is not far behind. He has been signed for a film by producer, Kumar Mangat. Raghav who was all set to have debuted in Haal-e-Dil, also lost out on an opportunity to shoot an item song in Rohit Shetty’s Sunday.
The shooting for the ad will start in Mumbai by the end of this week. Initially Pakistani rock group Call was considered for this campaign. But due to the fallout on diplomatic relations between India and Pakistan post the Mumbai terror attack, Call was dropped and the young pair of Shruti and Raghav was roped in.
The duo has replaced Amrita Rao, who had shot the earlier campaign for the ice cream company.
