MUMBAI: The first film project, under the two film deal signed between producer – director Vipul Shah’s Blockbuster Films and Fox Star Studios India, has been finalised.
The yet untitled movie will star John Abraham and Asin and will be directed by Nishikant Kamath. It is a remake of the Tamil film Kaaka Kaaka, which starred Surya and Jyothika.
At the time of filing this story, Shah was unavailable for comments. However, when contacted by Businessofcinema.com, Fox Star Studios India CEO Vijay Singh said, “It is still too early to talk about the film right now. We will be making a formal announcement sometime soon.”
The two movies to be made under this partnership will be a visual effects-driven fantasy action movie and a contemporary romantic comedy. The agreement between the two also includes a first look deal on Shah’s future projects.
