MUMBAI: It doesn’t get bigger and more star-studded than this! Yesterday, the Deols launched the music of their upcoming film ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’, and megastars Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Juhi Chawla and many others were spotted.
It was a grand old Bollywood bash, as far as we could tell, with a constellation Bollywood stars showing up to wish the Deols good luck for their film. Hrithik, Shah Rukh and Aamir even joined Dharmendra in an impromptu jig, while grooving to ‘Main aida hi nachna’, a song from ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’.
Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol looked pleased as punch at the incredible turnout as stars, for their comedy film’s music launch.
Other celebrities who were present at the glitzy music launch were: Director-duo Abbas-Mustan, filmmaker Subhash Ghai, Ritesh and Genelia Deshmukh, Rajkumar Santoshi, Rakesh Roshan, Chunky Pandey, and many others.
Dharmendra, ever the humorous veteran actor, revealed: “I have always wanted to say this and today everyone is there including the media. I want to say that I am the no. 1 dancer in Bollywood!. My son Sunny has planned a special song for me, ‘Main aida hi nachna’.”
Expressing his gratitude towards his friends from the fraternity, who took time out to support him and his sons, the Senior Deol said, “I am so happy for the love and respect which they give me. They all meet me so nicely. Today, whatever I am is because of their love. I wish them all the best and a long life. They should have good films and success should come to them.”
Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ stars Dharmendra, Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, Neha Sharma, Kristina Akheeva, and is up for a 7 June, 2013 release.
