MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone’s loss is Ali Fazal’s gain. It will be the young actor who will be seen in ‘Fast & Furious 7’ alongside Vin Diesel and not leggy lass Deepika Padukone.
It was speculated that Deepika Padukone was also roped in to play a major role (Read STORY).
But the makers instead opted for another actress. Meanwhile Ali Fazal is a lucky guy as he gets to share screen space with Hollywood actor Vin Diesel.
Ali Fazal, last seen in ‘Fukrey’ says, “I was auditioned and they liked it a lot. It’s a fun role quite different from what I have done before.”
With Ali Fazal getting the big ticket to Hollywood, he joins the likes of Gulshan Grover, Irrfan Khan and Naseeruddin Shah who have made it big in Hollywood.
Ali Fazal’s best known as Joy Lobo in ‘3 Idiots’ and has also starred in ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’.
Will Ali Fazal manage to rise to stardom in ‘Fast & Furious 7’? Time will decide. But one thing is for sure, fans will obviously miss the oomph factor of Deepika Padukone!
