Anurag Kashyap And Ram Gopal Varma’s Twitter War Turns Ugly

ANurag-Ram-Gopal-VarmaAnurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet fell on its face at the Box Office drastically. Ever since the Box Office digits came out, the film and its director Anurag Kashyap are been targeted by one or another. While everyone took to social networking sites to share their reactions for the film, Anurag Kashyap too took to his official Facebook account to pour his heart out. The director made it pretty clear that he isn’t depressed with the reactions that his ambitious project received and thinks it’s time to close the book and move on. But seems like Ram Gopal Varma isn’t in a mood to let this one go.
Apparently, Ram Gopal Varma took a shot at Anurag Kashyap and his film on his Twitter account by tweeting, “A director standing by his film rejected by the audience is like him telling a girl “I love myself and I don’t care if you don’t love me.”

The tweet caught Anurag’s attention and thus began the war on Twitter. Anurag slammed back by tweeting “@RGVzoomin sir i love you too much.. now put that Vodka aside and sleep.. lots of kisses.”

Soon after things got out of hand and pretty much ugly between Anurag Kashyap and Ram Gopal Varma on Twitter.

But well, this isn’t the first time that Ram Gopal Varma tried to fuel the “AAG” and take shot at Anurag Kashyap for Bombay Velvet. The day the film hit silver screens, Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma tweeted saying, “The bottom line is everyone makes an AAG and till he makes his own AAG he will bitch about others AAGS until he too burns in his own AAG.” This wasn’t it for Ram Gopal Varma. He went on a Twitter spree and bashed the film and the director even more. Not only that, but he also called Karan Johar the only Velvet in the film while rest is coarse.
