At the global trailer launch of ‘Satyagraha’ in Mumbai, yesterday, Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Jha denied that the film is a copy.

“KO is a story about a photographer, while Satyagraha is a story about a relationship between a father and son,” said Prakash Jha.

“There are no similarities at all and ‘Satyagraha’ is a completely different film,” he added.

Present at the trailer launch were Amitabh Bachchan, Prakash Jha, Amrita Rao, Manoj Bajpayee and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor also joined the launch via video conferencing in London, where they interacted with the London media.

‘Satyagraha’ produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Prakash Jha Productions will hit theatres on 23 August, 2013.
