Farhan Akhtar's Rock On 2 Likely To Be Shot In Shillong

It seems like filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor‘s upcoming film Rock On 2 will be rocking the audiences with the beauty of Northeast India. Going by the recent news, it seems that the film will not only be packed with great music but also the most beautiful scenic view of Shillong as well. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani is on a location scouting mission and his recent tweets suggest that the team of Rock On 2 have finally found the right location for their film.

The producer took to his Twitter account to keep his fans updated while he was out on location hunt. Ritesh even asked his fans for their guesses on the location. “Tom morning location scout for #RockOn2 begins.. Can u guess which state & city?,” he tweeted.

People guessed Bangalore, Delhi, Goa and Shimla but the producer tweeted back saying that all the guesses were wrong. Later, he finally revealed the location. He tweeted, “Shillong it is”

We’ll see Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli again in the film, whereas Ek Villain actress Shraddha Kapoor is the new addition in the family and will be playing the female lead. It’s no surprise that the team of Rock On 2 have zeroed on Shillong, after all, it is India’s rock capital.
