Imran Khan and Ekta Kapoor have cleared the air between them and the two are all set to collaborate together again! Yes, you heard us right. The duo first came together for the film Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara, even though the film did quite well on the big screen, the relationship between Imran and Ekta soured and the two decided to never work together again.
But as they say, every bad thing comes to an end. As soon as the two faced each other, all their differences went out of the window. And now, the two are all set to work together for director Tigmanshu Dhulia‘s film titled Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka.
Reportedly, Imran and Ekta met at a party. The two were calm and at ease when they saw each other, no cold vibes were shared. As soon as the two shared a smile, they were lost in a deep conversation. Later, the two met again for tea and discussed about their old pending projects. That’s when the topic of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka came up.
During the shooting of their film Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Imran and Ekta had talked about Tigmanshu‘s script that they both were interested and passionate about. After years, when the two finally met and had a good chat, they decide to revive the old project.
As reported, Imran Khan confirmed the collaboration news, “I’m very glad that Ekta and I met face to face and cleared up our issues. I really wish we had done it sooner. Tigmanshu’s script is excellent, and it would be a shame for his film to suffer because of our disagreement. I’m really looking forward to the three of us working together.”
Ekta Kapoor revealed that she is really excited to start with the project. She also expressed that after hearing Tigmanshu‘s script, she knew that Imran was perfect for the role and he’d do justice to the character. Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka team is yet to finalize the leading lady for the film. The movie is supposed to go on floors by the end of this year, probably September.
