Katrina Kaif’s much awaited debut at the Red Carpet of the Cannes Film Festival proved to be a show down. The actress who is prim proper always failed to match the glory of the big event.
There were loads of speculations about the wardrobe to be worn by Katrina, but the Bang Bang actress failed to create any magic on the carpet.
The otherwise gorgeous actress arrived at the opening ceremony of the festival wearing a black and grey toned off shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown, the actress chose to keep her tresses in the red tone and side swept with minimal make up and minimal jewelry. The look of the actress was lower than anticipated and lacked freshness.
Kaif, who was very excited for the D-day seemed nervous amidst the shutterbugs on the red carpet, the star spent minimum time on the carpet and was looking conscious. Nevertheless, Katrina did not fail to click a selfie with Oscar winner Julianne Moore, the two shared a short conversation too.
The beautiful actress who is currently in news for her marriage plans, appeared on the prestigious platform of Cannes for the first time and tried her best to remain poised and calm.
The other two Indian beauties Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are yet to show their fashion marvels on the red carpet.
Even though Katrina couldn’t set the carpet on fire we are sure that she is already very happy to be a part of this much respected event.
