Oops! Raveena Tandon Walks Out Of Ranbir Kapoor’s Bombay Velvet

raveenaDirector Anurag Kashyap has been keeping his much-anticipated movie Bombay Velvet a low-key affair from a very long time but every now and then the news relating to the film keeps popping up and here’s another. Apparently, actress Raveena Tandon walked out of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s much awaited film ‘Bombay Velvet’. The 40 year old actress was to play a jazz singer in the film but due to so many changes in the script, it made her take the exit door from the film.

“I am no longer a part of Bombay Velvet. Everything has changed. The whole scenario of movie has changed now. I had finished shooting my part too but there were a lot of changes in the sequences… So, I told Anurag that I will not do this film. I will work with him in his next project,” Raveena told PTI.

The actress also made it clear that she is not angry with the director of ‘Bombay Velvet’, Anurag Kashyap. “Anurag and I are very good friends and such issues don’t matter in our friendship,” she said.

‘Bombay Velvet’ is an upcoming drama film based on Gyan Prakash book called Mumbai Fables. The film shows the picture of Bombay in 1960’s and tells the story of a boxer, Johnny Balraj played by Ranbir Kapoor and an aspiring jazz singer, Rosie played by Anushka Sharma. While Karan Johar play the role of antagonist in the film. The film is scheduled to release in May 15, 2015.
