Saif Ali Khan Signs Three Film Deal With Ekta Kapoor

It’s raining films for actor Saif Ali Khan! Yes, recent reports suggest that Saif Ali Khan has signed a good three-film deal with the ‘Queen of Soap Operas’ Ekta Kapoor. The actor, who had a tough 2014, will be seen in Bollywood adaptation of Japanese murder mystery thriller ‘The Devotion of Suspect X‘.

The film will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Kahaani director Sujoy Ghosh. It is said that Ekta and Saif met with each other after signing the first film to discuss about the other two more films. Though, the details about other two projects are not out yet.

The Bollywood adaptation of Japanese film, which is originally based on a book with the same name by author Keigo Higashino, tells a story of a very clever mathematics professor who helps a divorced mother cover up a tragic event. The story is cat and rat chase. It’ll be really interesting to see how well and which character Saif aces in the Bollywood adaptation of ‘The Devotion of Suspect X‘. Also, we are eager to see how the director Sujoy Ghosh takes us through the story. The upcoming film will go on floors in May this year. Currently, Saif is going through kickboxing training. Reportedly, actress Kangana will share the screen space with Saif in this film.

This year is going to be a busy one for the actor as he has got a lot on his plate. If rumours are anywhere to be true, as soon as Saif wraps up this project, he will start shooting for Sameer Sharma‘s upcoming film Jugalbandi.
