People are divided in what to think of Salman Khan given his courtship with law. A black buck and a hit and run case have somewhat dented his popularity. The cases are yet to be resolved and so it emerges out every now and then. But that never rules away the fact that Salman is known for his kindness and generosity. He is the reason Jay Borade, who is no more, survived many years ago when Maine Pyar Kiya was yet to happen. No wonder his death left the actor teary-eyed.

Salman pretty young when he saw a man bleeding on the road with an overturned scooter by his side. He didn’t know who he was then and like a good Samaritan rushed him to a hospital. Borade got a stitch on his forehead and he was fine. Next day they met on the sets of Maine Pyaar Kiya. Borade was the choreographer of the film. The association then worked in more films like Sanam Bewafa, Baaghi and Hum Aapke Hai Koun among other.

Borade recently died of Urinal bladder cancer. When he was diagnosed with disease in January, his son Vicky informed Salman and the actor immediately put him under his family doctor’s care. Borade recovered and was sent home. But on Diwali, his health deteriorated and died soon after in a hospital in Bandra. When Salman learnt about his demise, he delayed his Goa plans and went to meet Vicky. He had tears in his eye
