For the first time, Salman Khan speaks up about Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in his upcoming film Tubelight.
Fans are eagerly waiting for Salman Khan starrer Tubelight and one of the significant reasons is Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in it. The glimpse of SRK’s cameo has already been shown in the film’s trailer. Well, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will share the screen space after almost 15 years. But do you know SRK gave a nod to do a cameo in the film on Salman Khan’s one call?
A day ago at the promotional event of Tubelight, Salman revealed SRK was always the first choice for the came. “When Kabir narrated the script, that time only he said that he wants Shah Rukh for the cameo. So I called him (SRK) and asked him about it and when I said I want you to do this small thing, even before I completed it, he said yes, let’s do it,” revealed Salman.

Well, like always we are expecting the film to make huge records at the box office. It would be great to see SRK and Salman Khan together after a very long time. Also, SRK plays a very important role in the film and his character is said to be a turning point in the storyline.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that the movie has been trimmed down to 2 hours and 16 minutes. The original playing time of the movie was 2 hours and 35 minutes but, now 19 minutes have been chopped off the actual time. This action has been undertaken by the team after all the post-production work was done.
This slashing has made Tubelight the shortest film of Salman Khan in a long time. His last release Sultan was 2 hours 50 minutes long. Before that, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was 2 hours 43 minutes and prior to that Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was almost 3 hours long.
Tubelight is produced by Salma Khan & Salman Khan and directed by Kabir Khan. The film stars Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Zhu Zhu. Tubelight also stars child actor, Martin Ray Tengu. It is co-produced by Amar Butala.
Tubelight will release in cinemas worldwide on Eid, i.e. June 23!
