Despite ruling Bollywood as its undisputed king for over 2 decades, Shah Rukh Khan has, like any common person, his sets of fears and insecurities.
It would be hard to imagine, what troubles or fears a superstar of his stature can have. He has everything one can dream of – a loving family, a gigantic house, the crazy fan following and all the luxuries life has to offer.
Recently in an interview with Cosmopolitan, when the Raees actor was asked about his biggest fear, he said, “Every time I do a film, whether it’s a hit or a flop, I feel that I leave behind a certain part of me in it. So my biggest fear is that I will wake up one morning and will not have any more parts left to leave in a film. This is how I approach acting.”
Isn’t this a food for thought? Contrary to what we would like to believe, leading a life of a superstar comes with its baggage and one is constantly expected to live up to the set expectations.
Professionally, year of 2016 was the year of different genre for SRK with Fan and Dear Zindagi. He keeps that up with his first release of 2017, Rahul Dholakia’s Raees. It’s a film on a bootlegger in Gujarat set in 1980s. The movie, which is coveted as one of the most awaited films of Shah Rukh, is all set to hit the cinemas on January 25.
