Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania co-stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were recently spotted together catching up on a Tamil hit film OK Kanmani at a theatre in Mumbai. It was film’s special screening and the two alleged ex-lovers were spotted at the theatre watching the film together on Sunday.
Looking at the pictures, Alia and Varun’s smiling faces, it’s hard to believe that things between the two were ever sour. Earlier, it was rumoured that Varun gave a cold shoulder to Alia when he spotted the actress at an event. But with the two pairing up once again for Karan Johar’s Shuddhi, and being spotted catching up a film, everything between Varun and Alia seems okay.
At the screening, Alia looked summer ready with her chic outfit and pink sneakers, whereas Varun kept it casual by sporting a black plain t-shirt over blue denims. The on-screen pair first made headlines after the news about the two once again starring opposite to each other in Dharma Productions big budget film Shuddhi was confirmed. Now their fans are nothing but excited to catch Varun and Alia on the big screen.
It was earlier reported that Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were to star in the film but both of the Bollywood actors walked out of the project due to busy schedules. Later, Salman Khan was finalized for the lead role in the film but due to some unknown reasons, he left the project and soon enough Varun and Alia came on board.
