Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom has been successfully hit in India and now the movie has been awarded internationally also. Omung Kumar’s Mary Kom bio-pic has won an award at a very cute film festival in Sweden.
Honoured at the Stockholm International Film Festival Junior in Sweden, the movie was judged by little children from the age 6 to 19 years old. The movie was loved by the children and wanted Priyanka Chopra to visit the country to meet them.
Directed Omung Kumar had kept three screenings of the film for the children in Sweden. All the screenings were for the kids aged from 6 to 19 years old. The director of the movie was suppose to come back but when he heard that the jury awarded the film with Bronze Horse Award he returned to the location where the screening was kept for the children.
Omung was surprised that the movie became so popular in the country where Indian films are not so popular and is indeed proud moment for India. He felt proud when he came to know that the jury was none other than little children’. He felt more happier. Because it was awarded whole-heartedly by them.
